Libya Build today
is the largest International exhibition
held in Libya, specialized in the
Building and Construction sector. Libya
Build 2008 proved to be a huge success
with a participation of more than 300
companies from 26 countries from all
over the world.
Visits made by professional
personalities in the field of Building &
Construction contributed to our great
success, also the unexpected number of
visitors reached over 10,500 who
witnessed the advancement in the quality
and state of the art products exhibited.
Libya Build 2008 was officially opened
by the Libyan Minister of Economy Dr.
Ali El Esaawy & H.E Mr. Abu Zaid Dordah,
Chairman of Housing and Infrastructure
Board (HIB), Dr. Jamal El Lamoshi:
Secretary of the General Board of Fairs,
along with Mr Joma Al Ostta, Chairman of
the Libyan Federation Union of Chamber
of Commerce, Mr.Samir El Werfali the
Chairman of the Libyan Contracting Union
and hundreds of Libyan VIP's &
Businessmen.
The participants in this unique event
had the opportunity to exhibit their
products in an area of 7,600 sq/m, where
many of the companies managed to
establish new relationships which will
further develop into new businesses,
contracts with hundreds of millions of
Libyan Dinars have been signed during
the four days of the exhibition.
The success achieved during the past
five years encourages ATEX once again to
promise all participates of Libya Build
2009 to achieve a great success in the
upcoming show. ATEX guarantees that

will benefit & improve the company's
image within the Libyan market.
